PlainfieldSportsNews was founded in 2008 by then journalism student Augustine Dashiell as a way to get around the industry standard of interning. Shortly different organizations contacted us asking we provide coverage for various sporting events.  Local businesses realized the opportunity and inquired about advertising on PlainfieldSportsNews through these quick interactions PlainfieldSportsNews refocused.
