I enjoyed watching Ty play football more than basketball, not because of wins and losses but because you could see the determination and how he reacted in situations when he could not dominate. On the basketball court, there were times when he could do anything he pleased, it was almost as if he did not have to work.By no means am I saying his game was perfect but he could definitely control the outcome with his individual talent more on the hardwood.
In football, I enjoyed watching the growth, seeing mistakes and then corrections and improvement. At times, the kid must have felt the weight of the world on his shoulders, but I enjoyed watching him when he really had to compete.I was just getting over the realization that he would not be on the gridiron next fall and now this, oh well we still got our Cardinals and I will cheer them on in both sports but I still will look out and wish good things for Tyrone.
